At Care Platform, our commitment lies in high quality centralized, cross-team supported care solutions. As part of our ongoing effort to ensure excellence and reliability across our offerings, we're seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. You are passionate about driving quality through comprehensive automated testing and ensuring our developments meet the highest standards of performance and user satisfaction.

You are a skilled Quality Engineer with a knack for automating end-to-end testing across UI, API, and performance domains. You should be keen on optimizing testing procedures to preemptively identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks, thereby ensuring our solutions are both efficient and scalable. If you excel in creating transparency and enabling informed decision-making through clear test results communication, you're exactly who we're looking for at Ecare.

What you will do

  • Automate End-to-End UI testing in collaboration with the application teams: Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts that ensure our user interfaces are reliable, responsive, and user-friendly.

  • Automate API testing: create, update, and deploy automated API test scripts to validate the functionality, reliability, and security of our application interfaces.

  • Optimize performance testing: identify critical components for automated performance testing, focusing on detecting and addressing potential bottlenecks to maintain optimal application performance.

  • Communicate test results: implement processes and tools that allow technical team members to easily access and understand test outcomes, facilitating quick and informed decision-making.

Your experience

You are an inquisitive, enthusiastic and accurate colleague who can act as a sparring partner for the rest of the team. Someone who wants and dares to ask critical questions, but can make pragmatic choices when the situation calls for it. We think you will be successful as a Quality Engineer within Ecare if you bring the following knowledge. If you do not meet all the requirements, but are convinced that you have the qualities for this position, please respond anyway! We would love to be convinced. For this position we are looking for someone who already lives in the Netherlands and is authorized to work here.

  • Proficient in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman, JMeter).

  • Experienced with both UI and API testing methodologies, with a solid understanding of performance testing principles.

  • Adept at scripting and programming, with familiarity in C#, Python, or similar languages used in test automation.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, capable of identifying and solving complex issues preemptively.

  • Excellent communicator, capable of presenting test results and insights in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Agile-minded and flexible, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to evolving project requirements.

  • A collaborative team player who values giving and receiving feedback and strives for continuous improvement.

What do we have to offer?

There are many ways to grow and invest in yourself, for example, every colleague has access to PluralSight to keep up with the latest technologies and increase his/her knowledge. Be part of a dynamic work environment where you work with the latest technologies such as Kubernetes, event sourcing, and service buses to develop innovative and scalable solutions. There is also plenty of room for training and certifications. In addition, we offer:

  • A full-time working week of 32 hours per week;

  • Working according to the principles of holacracy;

  • Plenty of room for your own initiatives and ideas. Always. From everyone. Whether you've just joined us for a week, a month or for many years already;

  • 5.4 weeks' holiday a year;

  • A fresh lunch daily from De Broodbode;

  • Hybrid working when it suits you;

  • A friendly working atmosphere in a close-knit team. What that looks like? Weekly Thursday afternoon drinks, fun team activities, darts, board games and outings with informal and sociable colleagues.

About Ecare

We devise and realise smart and simple ICT solutions for district care, residential care, disability care and mental health care. At Ecare, we are at the forefront of technological research and innovation. With smart and simple solutions, we facilitate organisations in elderly care, disability care and mental healthcare. Our Electronic Client File (PUUR.) is smart, simple, clear and friendly to use and encourages healthcare professionals to be the best version of themselves. Anyone can work with it, whether in home care, nursing home, disability care or mental health care.

We believe in a responsibly simple way of organising care. No ‘top-down approach’ but an approach that puts responsibility for care back where it belongs; with the caregiver. At Ecare, we work according to the principles of holacracy and have a 4-day working week. We do everything for care professionals, which we do with a tough, energetic and independent team consisting of very diverse types.
